GetDataBack Pro Data Recovery Free Download 2020
GetDataBack will recover your data if the hard drive’s partition table, boot record, FAT / MTF or root directory is lost or damaged, data is lost due to a virus attack, the drive is formatted, if the fdisk is run, if it caused a power outage. Files lost due to system crash, software malfunction, files accidentally deleted.
GetDataBack can recover your data even when the drive is no longer recognized by Windows. Likewise, all directory information – not just the root directory – can be used even if it is missing.
The software enables the normal user to perform their own data recovery by guiding them in five easy-to-understand steps, thus allowing the advanced user to intervene in the recovery process by examining the scan log, file system details, and improve results. File and directory information, by selecting the sector range to be scanned, selecting extreme search for file systems, or searching for lost files, calling the Runtime’s DiskExplorer
GetDataBack Pro: Features
GetDataBack Pro doesn’t have a huge feature set. It is designed to quickly recover files from a non-functional hard drive. However, this software will work even if your hard drive has been formatted or repartitioned, or the partition table is lost. This is important if you are worried about file loss due to malware, since many malware targets your disk partition table.

One of the most important features of this software is that it works with most Windows file systems, including NTFS, FAT, EXT, HFS + and APFS systems. Even if you haven’t partitioned your hard drives, chances are good that your computer has different file systems for your operating system, programs, and documents. So the fact that GetDataBack Pro works with different file structures of the hard drive is a big plus.
GetDataBack Pro: client and client setup
Installing and running GetDataBack Pro is very simple. Just download it from the Runtime Software website and install it on a working internal or external drive. The installation client reminds you not to install software to the drive from which you are trying to recover files.

However, the software interface itself could hardly be less attractive. This tool looks like it was created in the early days of personal computers, and if you have multiple disks, it doesn’t identify them by name or location. Also, you won’t be able to easily see which files are on which partition without performing a recovery scan. All of this means that finding the right directory even to start recovering files takes some trial and error.
GetDataBack Pro: performance
The main advantages of using GetDataBack Pro to recover data from your hard drive are that it is fast and highly adaptable.
As for recovering deleted files, you can choose from four levels of hard disk scanning. Level 1 and Level 2 scans are fast and are best for finding deleted files. Level 3 and Level 4 scans are more like deep scans and are more suitable for repartitioning hard drives and recovering from malware attacks.

To see how fast GetDataRecovery Pro can perform, we ran a Level 1 scan for a 107GB NTFS file system on an SSD. Indexing all files on disk, including deleted ones, took just under 90 seconds. For reference, a level 3 scan of the same file system took about three minutes.
Our test drive did not crash, but nevertheless it was pleasant to find that GetDataBack Pro found several deleted files. This collection of files included Word documents, photos and videos, as well as several old system logs.
GetDataBack Pro: efficiency
There are several minor features in the recovery interface to help you manage your time when performing a scan. For Level 3 and 4 scans, the program displays the percentage of completion and the remaining time. You can also switch the interface to silent mode so you don’t have to see the stream of filenames flashing on the screen.

The software itself is compact and only takes up 17 MB of disk space. This is a plus because you can easily install it on any USB stick and run a scan on your computer’s internal hard drive. It also has little computing power. Level 3 scans used only nine percent of the available CPU power and 10 MB of available memory.
